Villa Kuda Angin is very secure being enclosed by a three metre high wall and accessed through typically solid Balinese double doors. The location is private and quiet. The villa is a fully self contained, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom residence with modern amenities including a big flat screen TV accessing Indovison (like Foxtel), a quality sound system and lovely comfortable Balinese furnishings. The open lounge and dining areas look out onto the lush tropical court yard and the 8 metre swimming pool. The Villa also boasts a private sheltered viewing platform where you can relax with a cold local wine and, depending on what time of the year you are visiting, you can enjoy the endless brilliant green of the rice fields or watch the rice harvesting process or the antics of dozens of wild duck who come to the area to trawl for fresh worms.
Villa Kuda Angin is uniquely located in the centre of Ubud’s artist’s colony, Penestanan and next door to several economical, good quality eateries called Wurungs. The villa is also only a 15 minute walk (or A$2.50 taxi fare) from Ubud‘s central shopping area, restaurant district, markets, Palace, Tourist Bureau etc.

Both double bedrooms are air conditioned and there are ceiling fans throughout.
One double bedroom has a queen size bed and the other has two big single beds.
Both bedrooms have heaps of storage space, live garden bathrooms serviced with electric hot water.
The villa is serviced 6 days a week by your house boy who will also shop for groceries and prepare meals in the villa kitchen if you require
The villa has a good size lap pool that allows for exercise or cooling off and it is regularly serviced by your house boy.
There is a plentiful supply of bottled water for drinking.
A washing machine and clothes line is available or you can choose to utilise the laundry across the street at a very low cost.
The villa has a security safe for your valuables.
VILLA RENTALS
Our Villa Kuda Angin is available for rental for $100 AUD a day which includes the house boy. Bookings can be made by contacting Steve Castley via email stevecastley124@gmail.com. Steve also leases other Villa’s in the Ubud area besides ours. Mention that you are a friend (or client) of ours. Please note that we have never stayed in a villa rented through Steve that we did not like.
